What’s better than waking up to the smell of freshly baked cookies…(er…nothing?)
These cookies are so delicious and easy! Seriously what’s not to like? They’re quick, easy and most importantly, they are sooo yummy…
YOU WILL NEED…
- 125 g Butter (soft)
- 125 g Soft Brown Sugar
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- 50 g Milk Chocolate (chopped)
- 125 g Plain Flour or about 1 Cup
- 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 50 g White or Milk Chocolate (chopped)
- 25 g Marshmallows (optional)
HOW AND WHAT TO DO…
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Lay a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray, and set aside.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. In the same mixing bowl, add one egg and mix. Then add in, the flour, cocoa powder and the baking powder. Mix until the mixture turns a light brown color. Fold in half of the chocolate with a spatula.
Spoon the mixture on to the baking sheet, remember to leave space in between the cookies. Because they expand, in the oven.
Bake them in the oven for 5 minutes, or until the edges become firm. Then take them out of the oven and place a few chocolate chips (and marshmallows) in the center of the cookies.
Put the cookies back into the oven for 5-6 minutes. Then take them out, and remember to switch the oven of. Let them cool on the baking tray for another 5 minutes, then transfer them to a baking rack.
THEY ARE NOW READY TO ENJOY!!
